Richard Perry, President and CEO of Security Networks LLC, has announced the acquisition of Tri-state Alarm Company at a public auction conducted by GE / SAFE Financial.
Based in Broomall, Penn., Tri-State Alarm Company services more than 13,000 residential customers in Philadelphia and southern New Jersey.
"Tri-State is a well respected and solid company with a good core of employees that provides outstanding service for their customers," said Perry. "The company simply needs an infusion of capital to grow and an owner who is in the position to grow the business."
Security Networks plans to move all of Tri-State
Alarms' accounts to Marlin Central Monitoring,
which it acquired this year. Marlin Central Monitoring
is a fully automated redundant UL Listed facility
with all fiber optics, and several redundant backup
utility companies. The central station specializes
in leading-edge technology including Dealer/Subscriber
Access, Two-Way Voice, Video Monitoring and Video
Verification.
Virtually all Tri-State Alarm employees are being
retained including the existing management team.
Other than moving the accounts, there will be
no other major changes.
According to Perry, Security Networks will use the acquisition of Tri-State Alarm Company as a platform to accelerate growth through additional acquisitions and an internal growth strategy in the Northeast.
Richard Perry is a long-time veteran of the industry with a wide-range of experience in monitoring, manufacturing, finance, acquisitions as well as commercial fire and systems integration.
In addition to the new Broomall facility, Security
Networks has offices in West Palm Beach, Fla.,
Kissimmee, Fla., and Charlotte, N.C. where it
services customers in the residential and commercial
security and fire alarm businesses.
